Default 315 nitto nt555r vs. 275 BF goodrich t/a drag radial.. maybe m/t et street

i was told that the nitto runs small enough to get a 315 on the stock rim but my buddy on his cobra was able to lift the front wheels on the t/a. but that is only in a 275. i love the way the fat tire looks on the ws6 but if there really is no difference in tread life/hooking ability i'll go with what looks best. but if the bfg really out performs the nitto than thats all that matters i suppose.

how does the MT e/t street compare. i know it probably wears really easy though..

On a stock rim, do yourself a favor and stick w/ the 275

When they say nittos run small, they arent talking 30mm which is the biggest you want to run, which is a 285. If the car is your daily driver, go with nittos. If your car isnt going to the track much, get nittos. If you want to buy tires every 5k, less if you burnout a lot, get the BFGs.

I just bought 305.35.18 nittos, their diameter looks to be more towards a 300 its still bigger than my 295 bfgs.

You have a 9" rim, I highly recommend sticking with the 275 for either tire. Yes the Nitto's are slightly smaller but not much. a 10.5-11" rim then thats fine for a 315. The 315 on a 9" rim looks abnormally huge and potentially unsafe. I know you want a fat tire so it looks badass, but to be honest if you want to hook you would be better off with the 275 on your wheel. If you daily drive the car stick with Nitto's they last much longer, BFG's hook slighlty better though.

Oh and I run 275 Nitto's, and cut sub 1.65 60's at idle, then drive home with em'.
