What year car??

In a LT1, you can disconnect the serp belt, unconnect the pump line to the rack, turn the pully by hand and drain the pump, then from the rack at the connection get in the car and turn the steering wheel by hand and this should get out the majority.

Make sure you do it correctly, or you will have foamy steering fluid and be an unhappy driver around turns. Let me know if you want me to explain further.
