The reason I ask this question is because I compared my tune when it was stock to after I did the heads and cam and there are only minum changes. The timing table is the exact same. I would at least think that they would change the timing a lil bit.

depends on the tuner really...I've seen some tunes where a TON was changed & most of it for the better & I've then seen dyno tunes where 12 tables &/or parameters were changed, 4 being the fan turn on/off temps & 7 being the Knock retard settings to turn off the knock sensors & the last one being the PE table...didnt touch anything else, maf, ve, spark, nothing.

Some provide a honest service for those folks in remote areas. Others sell magic beans.

That's funny. I'm cleaning up a tune that exactly matches that description. 10.83:1 PE table for a mild bolt on car.

same here, full exhaust, gears, & a lid & those were the changes made...the PE looked like the rocky mountains in this file though

Yep...seems to be a trend. For a cam, headers + STS turbo my VE table was STOCK save for 1600RPM and below The tuner turned off the rear cats (though I still have them) + added a truckload to the PE, dumbed down the timing to minimize KR, and put in the generic #'s for the larger injectors. Couldn't understand why the car ran so sluggish till after getting HP Tuners! And to think I paid $500 for this too!

I'm not even 1/2 done tuning the car properly and it is easily up 60+HP just from adjusting the VE table!

that funny, because after I adjusted my ve table, my car too felt like another car.
