hey guys.....

i'm making the swap over to a carb setup and i want to keep the 6spd. i was wondering what needed to be done/used so the electronic AutoMeter speedo i'm using now can read a signal from the vss sending unit without the computer???

Doesn't auto meter make a standalone VSS to send their electric speedos?

you sir are correct! i just got ahold of them and found out how simple it is. now, i'll have to get under the car and see if the previous owner/builder went this route considering how simple it is. if not, i just need to see if it's a push on or thread in type so i can buy the appropriate sending unit.
