General Maintenance & Repairs - oil change light???????

so the oil light came on....about monday!....did the oil change tuesday....but the oil change light still appears!...and stays for a little while then it goes away!............and service engine soon light comes on.......but after a while, while im driving it goes away...should i get it checked?...any suggestions let me know?

you have to reset the light when you do an oil change. Hold down the trip odometer reset button until the oil light blinks and goes away (probably 15 sec).

Don't forget to turn the key to the RUN position (without starting) before pressing in and holding the trip/oil reset button. I'd get the code read for whatever is causing the SES - even with it off most codes are stored in history for 40 ignition cycles. Places like Auto Zone will read them free.
