Its seems like question has probably been addressed multiple time though I have searched and cant find the answer. Does anyone know if the 04 CTSV has torque management? If so, is it any different that the torque management on the 05 and new models? Thanks.
Yes, I would assume it is the same in the 05 model as its the same car. Likely a little different in the 06/07 with the LS2 but still in there.

Gm dissabled Tm on the transmission and abuse modes on all manual cars. IT would be too active all the time if they left it in. Just because there is some leftovers in software packages for you to see dont mean that there are all of them that turn on and off things.
It does however have an axle vibration protection in place on the ctsv. It will try to help if it sees axle hop to try to prevent failure.

I stand corrected, is that the traction control you are referring to?

naw, traction control is a whole other system, That is active in 3 phases depending on the mode of stability control you are in. Axle vibration, is in the background no matter what.

I dont know if I believe that there is absolutely no torque management on the CTSV. If you read on corvette forums all of the C6s have torque management, even in manual form. So why would the V be any different than the C6s?

Traction control and TM are two totally different systems. TM is not active. WWW.EFILive.com download the software from the site, and look all over for any active abuse modes. They are all shut off. If it has data in the tables, then it is shut of in a part of the code you dont have access too.
Tm is only active durring a shift.
To show you the Axle abuse, go drop the clutch and get the tires spinning, and watch your scan, there is a dma pid you can watch that will show you throttle actuation and timing fluctuation durring the wheel hop. When you turn it off, it will help take off on a fast car, BUT then the rear has NO safety..
