broken fuel sock $60 wow
needless to say i broke the fuel strainer on the bottom of the fuel bucket on my 2000 trans am. I couldnt find anything using the surch to help me. The deals wants 60 bucks for a new one. Doe anybody know any aftermarket one for cheaper or anywhere else i could get one. I asked for the part number also but they said their not allowed to give it out a nother reason to not got to the dealer for parts.

i bought a direct fit one form fullthrottle. i believe it was fullthrottle. so it retains the bucket filling action. The filter they sent that goes on the bottome of the pump is different then the one on the bottom of the bucket. although it might fit and i just might get a secound. i have to double check. does anyone know the part number so i could look it up on gmparts direct. i had heard you can get away without this stainer. dont know if thats correct or not. as theirs a another filter on the pump.

I know the sock that comes with our pumps for in the bucket is different that the sock on the bottum of the bucket. The sock that is on the bottum of the bucket looks just like a sock that comes on most older pumps. Napa or advanced, or whatever you have should carry them individually from the pumps
