Default 1929 Model A with "LS1"

It seems the ls-1 is a popular engine, however I have a 1929 Model A would like to know if there is enough room to fit and any tips/pointers in putting it in the car. Anyone help?

I know a local guy putting a massive Keith Black Hemi in one. Fuel injected, 14-71 blower, etc...Somewhere in the 572 cubic inch range. He is going to daily drive it with a "mild cam" putting out somewhere around 1600 horsepower. You look at it from the back and about all you see is tire. His tires on the back are something like 22" wide each.

I would say getting an LS1 into one would be cake. The block is smaller, heads are smaller, and I assume you are not putting a 14-71 blower on top..that would be cool though.

I am sure it will fit fine. you dont eaven have a distrubitor cap to worry about and a small block fits fine too in a model A
