Default STS turbo

I been looking for a turbo to put on my car. I found one on the STS turbo website and all together it would cost me around $6000. Is this a good price?

sts makes a great kit for a great price. im assuming the 6000 dollar kit your talking about was one of the upgraded kits and not the base 60mm turbo. i think you'll like the remounted systems as it keeps the heat out of the engine bay. been seeing some great numbers out of them as well.

sts is a sponser and has the same kit for the same price. that is the base model with 60mm turbo, and goes up from there. for 6,000 i think your getting the 70 or 76 mm with an intercooler, fuel injectors and possible meth and a few other things. you like it once that thing spools up around 3500 it pulls hard. which is also great cause if you keep it out of the powerband you'll still get great gas millage and drivability

check out this sponser, they sell packages with most of the things you will need to run a turbo set up right

Ive been thinking about getting a turbo kit for my car...but i dont have $6k to spend, not even $3k. Does anyone know if i can just buy the turbo and oiling system and just keep it at low boost so i dont need to upgrade fuel delivery right away?

besides, if your going to go cheap and half *** a turbo system, i'd assume just a lid+LT's+cutout+cam is going to get you more power then a half ***'d turbo system for less money.

so..... if i were you i'd look into the cam and exhaust first.
