Default what do you guys use for head gaskets and C.R. in a forged 14-16psi 346?

Im going to be starting my forged 346 FI build soon and I was wondering what everybody uses for head gaskets and what kind of sucsess youve had, also what kind of compression are you guys running. the higher you can run safely the better right? without having to pull too much timing out of course. I will be running the D1sc kit with as much boost as I can get out of it at max impeller speed, with a stage 1 meth injection kit and the 4.5 inch twin high flow intercoolers. the lower end will most likely be diamond -8.6 pistons, callies compstar rods, diamond pro select rings with ss upgraded top ring. and stock crank

Does the theory of reducing quench apply to FI as it does NA?

I would think so but I could be wrong. You would think using a stock MLS .052 gasket doesn't provide optimal quench to aid in reducing detonation in NA or FI applications.

Depends how far your pistons stick ouf of the top too......

Although in general, LSx dont seem to be hugely prone to detonation. At least, ive never had any real problems with that respect.

Not at all, well at our power levels. I've also seen no gain tightening the quench on a NA motor either.
