How often do you see an LS1 broke down?
I know its pretty rare to see them parked on the side of the road broke down. I'v only seen a couple that were a good while ago, and today I just saw an SOM WS6 T/A on the road side out in the country not far from where I live. I think the interior was tan/black, I only caught a gimps of the tan seats.

^lol had that happen to me once or twice too.
ive acctuely never seen another persons ls1 broken down on the side of the road but mine did a few times when i first got it. First day i had it the rear took a crap then 3 weeks later so did my tranny (they replaced the engine like a week before i bought it cause the previous owner was a retard but they never checked the tranny/rear) since then it was pretty dahm reliable especially since i put almost a 1000 miles on it a week

I mainly see them broken down at the race track, as in stock 10 bolts dying. Other than that I have only seen one on the side of the road with a flat tire, but that was also caused at the track when the car lost control spun sideways and just barely hit the wall, he must have flat spotted the tires and one of them blew out on the way home.

LMFAO!
Never seen an LS1 parked on the side of the road, actually. Let alone broke down.

A few 2nd and 3rd gens. My third gen isn't "broke down", but it's been parked in the same spot in a parking lot for over a year.
IMO LT1s and LS1s are not old enough to be occupying shoulders yet.

every time i walk into the garage...
the motor is still great, but with 60k babied miles i got a tranny and clutch on the verge of lunching out and i get wretched wheelhop on the rare occasion i try to go fast... i'm debating selling it after i get it all fixed/improved. at 60k imo you shouldnt have to completely rebuild the chassis/suspension to keep it going straight and smooth.
i dig the motor and the looks of the ws6. there just aint a cooler looking car imo. i just really wish everything else was built better/beefier from the factory.
