Default Oil Pressure Stays up

I just got finished putting my cam in a couple of days ago and ever since then ive noticed that when I turn the car off the oil pressure stays around 50. When I turn the key(dont crank it up) it goes back down. Is that a serious problem or is it just a sensor or something?

Possibly just a bad connection. Wiggle the connector around and make sure everything is making proper contact on the oil pressure sensor. Those often get hit by the intake and sometimes ruined.

The sensor usually stays at the last setting it was at before shutoff.... Nothing to worry about.
