Need LS1 trans: 4L60e, 4L80e, or T56 swap! I currently have a 4L60e with a 3500 stall and the 3-4 clutches just went out. If anybody has a T56 and they want to go to an auto, I would like to use this as a partial trade. Obviously my trans is not worth a ton of money but it is a good core and a good rebuilder. Also the stall is fairly new, with about 7k on it. Look at it this way, if you buy a used trans, you never know what you're gonna get. With mine, I'm telling you that it needs rebuilt, you can get it cheap, and you know what you're getting. I have been thinking about switching to a T56 for a while, but it really comes down to whatever comes up first. An auto would serve the purpose of getting the car back on the road which is my first priority. Lemme know what you've got!

i have a 4l60e, i dont know how many miles are on it. we bought it for a project car and decided not to use it. i dont know anything about it, just that were not using it, and asking $350

Thanks, but I want a tranny that has been built at least a little. I'm currently making approx 500 flywheel hp, and I need either a fairly fresh rebuilt auto or a good T56. I apologize for not emphasizing that in my original post. My current trans is an excellent core, and I have the ability to rebuild it myself, I just don't have the time.
