When I ordered my 5.3 heads for TSP, I asked about PTV clearance. He said you could run up to the MS3 with these heads and stock gasket. I was looking at that cam, and it will be fine. (this is making gasket assumptions). Your best bet would be call them and ask.

I am going with this same setup, I called them on friday, and they said it will clear fine. I also asked them if I use Cometic head gaskets, and he said he think it might but would look into it for me. Just call them and they will put you in the right deriction

If your valves are 2.02 or bigger i would not do it without flucutting. I had to flycut with 5.3 heads and a Comp xer 228/230.

Jon told me that 5.3 heads with the 2.02 valves and a MS3 you don't have to flycut. He recommended I go with the 2.02 valves because I'm gonna spray. Yes they make a tool to flycut the pistons. Like everyone has said just call TSP and ask them

I had to flycut with unmilled 5.3L heads, Comp XER 228/230. I only had .045 clearance for P/V.
