i have searched and i cant really find any pics of these on a black or any color camaro. can you please post some up?

They were stripes GM used on the Grand sport LT4 cars. The Vette's only had the stripe on the driver side from what i know.

They originated on the 1963 Grand Sport Race car(s). Yes it was only on the drivers side, and I believe was used to identify the driver.

each stripe is 2" wide with a half inch space between each of them
