4l60e or Th400 any recommendations

Which one to go with 4l60e or th400 I am contemplating on which trans I should use for my car. I am currenlty running about 650 to 700 hp. With the current mods I have on my car and running a 200 shot, will a 4l60e hold the horsepower or should I go with the th400. Also should I go with or without the vaccum mod.
