Default Castrol Syntec Factory equipped Camaro SS underhood sticker?
I know tons of people who have a Camaro SS around town and I noticed that none of the other SS cars have the same underhood sticker saying something like " This Camaro SS" was Factory equipped with Castrol Syntec was wondering how rare this sticker was and if there was any more info on that. Thanks!

You can see the sticker to the right of the airbox.

I think the last time I saw that was when Dave Hamburger had it on his ebay site. Known as (tinylittlecars) listed for under 10 bucks. I know he still shows the advance item with that sticker and other castrol info at around 95 bucks.

I just looked it up on google and found that it was a option for the 2000 SS's

im sure thats what it is. I dont think the sticker is an after market thing. I highly doubt it.

My 99 has it as well, but runs Mobil 1 filter and oil. It was something like an $80 SLP option if I recall correctly.

My previous 99 Hugger SS had the Castrol Syntec package option too. It had the decal, and it was shown on the window sticker.

According to SLP David Hamburger's 2000 Camaro SS production #'s 1869 or 21% got the Castrol Synthetic Lubricant package. Need more breakdowns just ask or PM.

till this day I still use Castrol why is mobil 1 so better? Going to change the oil in a couple days so maybe Ill just go with Mobil 1 this time.

I don't know about everybody else but when I used Castrol the motor consumed more oil than it does with Mobil 1.
