Default TSP 5.3L Stage 2.5 heads results inside

My '02 vette LS1 MN6 with Kooks LT's, hi-flow cats, Corsa cat back, Halltech stinger intake and MTI X1 cam made 384rwhp.

Added TSP heads, .040 cometic gaskets for 11.18:1 SCR and 8.55:1 DCR. Also added Shanner ported TB and ASP UD pulley. Before and after results below.

your numbers does seem alittle low but not severely low. the ported tb,ud pulley and .040 gaskets ware probably good for alittle over 15 rw in reality so the heads were good for 20-25.i would think you are around 10 hp shy of where you should be.remember the ls6 intake might be hurting you more than before.

40 Hp is a great gain for the price of those heads, I wouldnt be dissapointed. Wait till you get a FAST 90 with a 90mm TB.

The numbers don't look bad, but I would have expected a little more especially since you also add the TB, pulley and thinner gaskets at the same time. I would think your combo would be good for another 10-15 hp.

Don't be wrapped in peak numbers, look at your undercurve, 350trq @ 3500 rpm is sweet.

Great undercurve numbers, as stated! I was interested in these heads as they seem like a GREAT deal and I'm not going with a big cam, but rather a nice complete package with a "small-ish" cam. Interested in seeing what a 90/90 would do for you

Thanks, after checking out some other X1 head combo results with more expensive heads it looks like I'm doing pretty good. Also, there is probably a some more in it as we only had time for a rough re-tune and two pulls.

ya i would have hoped to see like maybe 430-440hp from that setup. The cam is not a huge cam but still does have a nice duration with a small lift though. Have you already had the car tuned?
