I wouldn't do that, being as how a F-Body never came with an LS6... If you have the original motor, it's an LS1.

You may have a factory LS6 intake and the same block.. But the heads, cam etc are not LS6 pieces...

yup... i know that... my 01 SS had one...

Just mentioned that since he had an LS6 intake and an probably an LS6 block (being an 02) that still doesnt make it an LS6 engine..

You're going to confuse a lot of people and just frustrate yourself in the process. Everyone will want to know what "346" means, why your LS6 isn't a 454ci BBC, and why you would remove the "factory 350" to put in the 346...

My old plate use to say 1320ft. Only drag racers knew what it meant, and thats all I cared about! Now my plate reads Nasty SS.

well that plate is fine but only a few people will know what your talking about.. i was going to get "1SIC LS1" (although mine has an ls6 block and intake) but went with "1SIC Z28" instead...

so your one of the few with ls6 blocks.. congrats and welcome to the club (there is no real diff, but it makes your car sound more special in conversation)
