Default What would you do?(piece by piece, or complete)?

I'm doing an LS1 swap on my 94.. I am still completing the funds needed, but I wanted some opinions.

I can get a complete LS1/T56 swap in my area with about 60k miles for 4600$ It comes with harness etc. everything needed, except K-member.

Now this seems like the easy way out.. but the thing is i am certainly putting in a cam etc.

Anyway, I eventually plan on changing the heads also.. but I wont be able to do so after paying 4600 for the engine/tranny, and 1500 for labor, plus 8-900 for the cam swap(brett beuer cam kit, after install).

So I'm wondering, would it be smarter/cheaper to piece everything together, since I'm eventually changing it out anyway, or should I just pay the 4600, and change as I go? I also kinda need to finish this project by around march-april.

It depends on if you need the car soon? If you can wait, just wait and do it all at once.

A head swap isn't a big deal, really. I'd get the LS1, enjoy it, swap the heads, and then enjoy it some more.

Id get it all at once becuase it will come with the little parts that will prove to be a pain to track down.
