SPEC: Boo stage 2
Stage 2 installed about 8,000 miles ago with new aluminum flywheel. Cars mods are in signature... Started slipping right after installing headers and TD's. I guess it didnt like the extra hp.
Im planning on going with a stage 3. Does this sound like a good idea?
Future mod plans include only a cap swap, so i will be under 400rwhp at most in the future.

I installed a few Spec3 and up clutches and have had ZERO problems with them. I hear from ALOT of people that they are no good. I'm wondering if people are installing them and breaking them in properly. No clutch is worth a damn if it's not installed and broken in like it is supposed to be.
McLeod makes nice clutches for most applications.
I have heard alot of good things about textralia and would like to get some hands on experience with them.
good luck with you project.

id go stg 3 for what you plan to have for power
i have the original X pad stg 3 with 30k on it and drive it hard still holds great.
liek stated before it is all in the install/break-in and if you slip it alot on the street. slipping a performance clutch its gonna burn up real quick
