Will these heads work for me???
My friend bought these heads about a year ago from a member on here and is going a different route and i was wondering if these would work for my application or just be "too much" head for my application.I have a 98 Z28 Vert with all bolt ons and an MTI X1 230/227 .591 .571 112 LSA camshaft "crappy" stock 98 heads and 4.56 gears.Never reall got any tipe of info on the heads just what was in the post.https://ls1tech.com/forums/lsx-parts-sale/436676-stage-3-ls6-heads-1600-shipped.html
Thanks for any help.

Most people do not lose there flow sheet for there heads. I would want solid proof of what they did on the bench and what they are. I got screwed on a set of used heads I got on this board. And for that price.... You could get some real nice NEW ones.

Would 2.08 valves really cause that much trouble to have to flycut?Im just asking because we installed them on his ride with a little bigger cam and no problems would i gain any power from these to make it worth the swap?

I had mocked up UNmilled MTI stg2e (2.02 valve) heads, stock .060 gasket, and the X1 on a 112. I clayed and had less than .040" clearance on the intake valve. Needless to say I didn't run that combo. The X1 is tight.
YMMV but whatever you do... check your clearance before you crank it up.
