Like the title says I need to upgrade my trans this winter and I was going to go with a built 4L60-E......however after hearing about all these 60's that keep gernading all the time even after a build up I am wondering if maybe a TH350 or a TH400 would be a better way to go I also wouldnt mind running a trans brake but I just dont want to lose 4th gear..........any suggestions would be great or anyone that knows of an affordable yet reliable trans for a good price.

What are your rwhp #'s? We have some 4l60e's in some pretty good rwhp cars and trucks. What is wrong with your current unit?

I know a great shop see sig, I could never be happier. I blew up 5 in 6 months and almost sold my car or was going to a 400. This was from a shop who claimed they knew what they were doing to.
