Our custom OS's extend the ve table to either 210 or 315kpa & adds a boost enrichment table so you can run different boost levels which leaves very little room to extend the spark table or add any more tables for extended spark...what you could probably do is use one of the afr spark correction tables to pull or add spark that way so that when your at full boost at a specific afr you can adjust it that way.

Are you by chance using a EFIlive 2 bar tune? If so there is a custom table for spark per boost.

Is it just me, or does 13* timing seem low for only 8psi?

My dad's C5 pushes 19* at 6,000 rpm (stock motor with a maggie on top 7psi pulley).

Thsi was HP tuners 2 bar SD tune. The bottom of the motor is stock and I didn't want to risk damage to the motor. We thought it might be fasle KR, cause there was no audible knock. We started at 12*, and it showed no KR then upped it 2* to 14* and got a few degrees of knock retard. Backed it down to 13* and no knock!

13* does seem low. I was running 15* on my stock engine at 8 psi. Do you know what your iat's were? And afr when it was knocking?

By the way, I was wondering the same thing about timing over 1.20 g/cyl. I use HPT 2 bar as well.

IAT never got over 80* engine running, engine off they heated up to 95*
My motor has always been prone to knock. Even 100% bone stock reving it up to 6000 rpm a GM tech II would show some KR. Current plugs are TR6 gapped to .035.

Forgot A/F ratio was kept at 11.7-12.2 :1, but even making it 10.5:1 wasn't helping

I just use the last line from anything over the 1.2. Im running 12lbs and have something like 16*s of timing. Try bumping your timing 1* at a time.

foff- which afr spark correction table?

I found one labled afr - tried telling it to pull spark for anything over 1.01 and nothing happens. reading the description HPT gives for the table though makes it sound like it's only for lean cruise? Is there a different table I am missing?

how audible will the KR be with a engine roaring and a turbo screaming? I know it doesn't take long to destroy a motor with KR. Will the dyno show a spike with KR. We set an alarm that when any KR came on we stopped the pull. Max KR I saw was around 4*.
