Default Covering the cracked door panels?

I did a search but couldn't find anything.......but I was wondering has anyone tried to put leather(vinyl) on the door panels to cover the cracks? Or anything to cover them. I am doing a makeover on my interior and it just doesnt look good with these big *** cracks!

It could be done but you would need to repair the crack so it wouldn't show through the vinyl. It would take some work but it shouldn't be too hard.

pretty easy to do if you are talking about the insert part of the panel. I recovered the insert part with vinyl and the carpet part with suede, not to cover cracks though. If you don't want the cracks to show through just plastic weld them before you recover them. pretty simple if you have the right equipment.

as for using genuine leather for your seats, it is going to cost an arm and a leg. I would using a good quality vinyl, looks great and most people can't tell the difference anyway.

good luck, and I look forward to seeing pics of the finished product.
