Doubtful. Just not enough rubber contacting the road.

Absolutely not, you will boil them even in second gear. You're going to need a better tire on a smaller diameter rim if you want to hook those kinds of numbers.

you need a 50 series sidewall for traction and a 275 width at least for both.

the width isnt going to give you as much traction as the sidewall, there needs to be some flex, and with that you sacrifice handling, so would you rather go fast and straight or be able to turn?

As mentioned, i doubt they would do anything with that much horse. I have that size of tire on my car now with stock power and they can barley hook in 1st. They are not a DR, but still not a desirable size for anything with decent power, its just what came on my car.

Watch towards the end of this vid, im at about half to 3/4 throttle in 1st to try and keep it from spinning, and this is just with a couple bolt ons.

Yeah, it didnt sound too bad. It definatly made some noise thats for sure. I got rid of the catback and cutout now and im going to get some TD's fabbed up this spring. I liked the sound of it with the cutout open, and didnt mind how loud it was, but it needed some tone. I think im going to get a couple powerpack's with a OR/H pipe

i believe that with anything less than a 2.0 60' and being able to hook 2nd the car will run 11's on a street tire.
