Default puff of smoke..

Ive been told by numerous people that when i go WOT they see a puff of white smoke from my exhaust. Does anyone have thoughts as to what this could be or have this happen? Thanks guys

Your PCV system is pushing oil in your intake and thus you are burning it seeing smoke

try running some seafoam through it? sure its white smoke ? or is it blackish. blackish smoke is caused by running rich, blue is oil, white is usually a failing head gasket.

seafoam is sold in a can, it cleans out your engine EXTREMELY well.. gets rid of carbon deposits, and cleans things up to almost new again. pretty sweet stuff, use the search button and there is lots of info on how to do it.

it definatly helped me out some. I also installed a catch can for the PCV system. I now have no smoke, and had the exact same thing as yourself. Also check your coolent levels and make sure its full, same for oil.

$6.99 at AutoZone. Unplug your PCV vacuum line and suck that stuff down into your car using that vacuum line while running (obviously). Probably should only use 1/3 to 1/2 the can though...

Let it run in the car for a couple minutes, then shut it off and let sit for about 30 minutes. Start er up and go...clean engine!

You can run it through your fuel system also, but it won't do as good of a job.

I ran it through the vaccum hose off my brake booster...let it sit for 20 minutes, then took it out on the freeway and ripped her open......left a enough smog to block the sun! It was pretty awesome, the stuff really works!
