Default WS6 store Short Stick?

Who all out there is using one? Came across it today, can't beat the price. Not sure if I'd like it being that low. Please share your opinions! If there is something better let me know!

On some reviews I read issues with it hitting the console in 2,4, and 6. Did anyone experience this? Did you use anit-seeze or anything like that on any of the threads?

lots of people have it. ive had it for a few years, no complaints. great price, high quality. i got the 6.5 stick, instead of the 6". 6 seems too short to me. no never seize or locktight, but it probably wont hurt if you use it. as long as you install it right, it shouldnt hit the console. there is a right and a left to the stick, and if its installed correctly, it wont hit.

Sounds like a noob question... But, is it obvious which is the left and right of the stick?

I have it and really like it - can't beat 25 bucks shipped! It will fit no problems if you replace the factory Hurst shifter with the short stick. Makes each shift much more precise. I say go for it!

6" here - no fitup problems at all. Not much of a gamble for $25

I don't understand your question - there are clear instructions that come with the stick.

I am unsure as well. Maybe it was a joke. I'm not too familiar with standards. Thats all I needed to know is if instructions were clear.

Thanks for the help all,

Kyle

Get the 6.5 inch, I got that and it just barely misses bumping on the console. It's well worth it as it gives the shifts a more tactile feel to it. You know you are in gear unlike that damn rubber isolater shifter.

I think the problem with hitting the console is with people that have the regular shifter and not a hurst. In my car i come 1-1.5 inches from hitting the console. You don't need loctite the kit comes with nylon inserted nuts. You tighten the new bolts down then you put the nut on the other side. Its not comeing off if you do it right.
I love this thing to. It did the shifter and !cags and i'm lovin it.
I have a hurst shifter also

I was worried about in being too short. So I got the 6.5". Nice crisp shifts. Worth every penny. Here is my install writeup with measurements for the 6.5" stick.
