Default Can C6 paddle shifters be adapted to F-Bod??

I am swapping a 4L80E into my M6 99 Camaro and plan to use the C6 shifter. What would be required to adapt the C6 paddle shifters to work? Is it mainly just the computer or has anyone thought or researched this?

thanks
