Was wondering if anybody ever tried to run T-rex or similar cam on a 3200 or lower torque converter ?

Thats kinda low for a TRex. I wouldn't wanna do one on anything lower than 3600 and thats pushing it. The problem is it will want to buck really bad at lower speeds and it won't have any power off idle it would just be much harder to drive.

I've heard don't go less than a 4000 stall with the trex...it's a pretty large cam. If you're looking for a cam that works well with a 3000ish convertor go with something with less than low 230's degrees of intake duration.

get a yank ss4000 or yank pt 4000 and u will be fine

my cam is nowhere NEAR as big as the trex and people on here were still tellin me to go bigger then 3000....the guy that i talked to at yank said 3600 would be good for my "baby cam"

Second part I ever put on my car was a ST3500 with a completely stock motor.

You will only have power from a low gear roll. Trust me. Big cam without proper mods is an absolute railing to drive.

Well I do have a Yank 4400 2.5STR.
As You guys notice, all the replies we see is about, People telling people, I heard, the guy said etc.
I hear all of this too, I am asking for someone who did it. I don't care about what people say.

trex with a low stall WILL suck man, trust me. With that small of a stall and that high revving cam it wouldnt be a good combo. people are telling you what is going to happen but if your to much of a dumbass to listen then go ahead and do it and see how much it sucks and then you will think to yourself, man i shouldve listened.
