Default cam help (power and streetability)

i am looking at 3 cams right now.

mti x1 (230/227 .591/.571 112lsa
HPE 224/224 580/580 112
tr230 230/224 .575/.563 111 LSA

i use my car everyday, to work, everywhere, aka daily driver.

so far im hitting 12.1 with bolt ons with 1.56 60 ft.

which of these 3 cams would help me out the most in driveability and hp/tq?

i got a good tuner, so no question there.....

the 224/224 would obviously be the best for streetablility and my guess is that the x1 would be the best if you just want power

Or, if you can pinpoint EXACTLY the specs you want, you could have a cam custom ground for you.

sure you can tune out some of the bad issues of running a larger cam, but they still won't have the balanced drivability of the 224/224.

i dont know exactely what cam i want.

nor the specs.

hence the reason for this thread.

i have a chance of getting any of those 3 cams....so im wondering, which one should i take a plunge and get?

and about how much more HP are we talking about? is there really a big difference between those, other than the lift being the difference..?

The 224/224 makes IDENTICAL power as the 230/224 below 5000 but gives up about 12 hp on the top end. I'd vote for the 230/224. It's very streetable- it's the same as the vulnerable 224/224 but more powerful. An excellent street cam. There are some very fast cars on this site with that camshaft.
