Default SNNOOOWWW + car....

Hey guys, as many of you know, a ton of snow has piled up in Colorado the last few weeks. Now it wasn't nearly as bad in Fort Collins as in Denver and other areas, but we still got a fair amount. So this post is me venting and pic-whoring at the same time.

Timeline:
Detail car

Drive around a week then garage the car while in Alaska for winter break.
Get back from Break - Shovel 2 feet of iced over snow from driveway

Look at the penguins

Start car up for first time in a month... Yes thats my roomate's awesome Saturn...

Finally, realize that the second I take it out of the driveway it will get covered in ****... so then place it back in the garage.

Ok, what have we learned? I HATE SNOW!!
There is now way the snow will melt by the time class starts again on Tuesday. I wish I had my beater suzuki sidekick here... but it is covered in snow in alaska. Oh well.... even if it gets covered in snow, my car can't look as bad as it did when I first bought it....

lol I made it sound like that didn't I. My roomates are back tomorrow, so I was just saying that I would have spared my car the snow and rode with them for a day or two if it saved me a few hours cleaning it up again. But since I get back to my normal routine by tues that won't happen.

Were you in Ft. Collins back just after spring break in 03? I was still at CSU then and we got 38 inches of snow in a day and school was cancelled. I had a bronco and i was still unable to go anywhere! I transferred out of CSU and now i'm at A&M but i do miss some things about colorado.

At least you have a garage....

Right now my car is parked behind my house getting snowed on. Not only that but I've been driving my car since the snow has started.

Looks about right z06vette.... I was hoping it would snow more there actually, I'd been waiting to go snowmobiling the whole year. Actually, back in AK the neighbor has a red v6 camaro that looks just like your car in that picture haha, it hasn't moved all winter.

-Redline, it's just been garaged during break. Normally my roomate with a brand new tahoe gets the garage, so I DD my car all year too. No fun scraping windows off is it? I hear ya

Soldotna... and i know of the Elmendorf base, but for the life of me I can't remember where it is. My friend lives out in Kasilof and we normally go blazing trails through the marsh out there. We tried this winter but the snow wasn't deep enough to have much fun so we just gave up. We found a spot where the snow had all drifted and you could see ~6ft down the ice, it was pretty cool.

Here is one from 2 winters ago. Ok so let me clarify from my original post.... I hate snow unless I'm on a snowmachine!

Its no fun at all. Especially when the ice is so thick you break the scraper.

Okay no more posting pics of yourself next to your car (males) I spend 90% of the time I use my computer masterbating. Okay, no pictures of guys.

I mean seriously post your mom or sister next to your car, I can work with that.

This isn't a centerfold contest here people, unless it's your mom. You can tell her it is a centerfold contest if that will get her out there in a bikini.
