Unhappy MSD Boost a Pump not working. :(

I bought it used off a member here. I know this guy pretty well so I dont think he gave me a bad unit.

Anyway I routed the vacuum lines and secured it up . I disconnected the racetronnix plugs and substituted the connectors to the bap to go inline. I grounded the two wires on the chassis. I even scraped the paint away to make sure the ground goes against the metal.

Car won't start..

I checked the 30 amp fuse-its good
checked the connectors to make sure they're pushed in all the way, they're good
redid the grounds-they're good.

i dont know what else to check, I'm thinking the bap is bad.

is there anyway to test this? anyone have this problem?

as soon as i disconnect the bap and plug the racetronix back in the car fires right up.

am i supposed to be hooking up anymore wires??

sounds like ur using the Boost a pump as the only source of power for the pump, its sopposed to be spliced into the main power to the pump to add power only when u see boost

true it sends more voltage at the desired boost amount so i think you wired it up wrong
