Default Mixing and Switching Engine OIL !!!

If you are running synthetic in your motor what will happen if you add dino oil to it between changes.

Also, what about switching from synthetic to a racing dino oil....any problems with that??

Thanks,

DH

IMHO... Oil's oil... Switch it, change it, mix it all you want... I run synthetic, but i need to top up a litre and only dino's available I don't hesitate...

Synthetic>Dino>No Oil

You have a lot of $$$$ in your car... Why not a synthetic racing oil?

No big deal - I would say General Maintenance and Repairs. That is where most of the oil posts can be found. This section is generally for pretty hard-core tech topics. Check out some of the older posts in this forum and you will understand.

Thanks.....maybe a moderator will move this.

But I did think there might be some technical aspects to my question....

I generally say don't mix oils, but that's because I'm **** about my car.
