decent vid, nice runs. need a little practice heating up the tires though or something. lol. so what does that thing weight? 130 trap is movin' pretty good! seems to have more in it though with a better launch.

It looks like you are mixing slicks with the radials up front that is not a very good idea. It will cause the car to be come dangerous at the top end.

i dont know about that statement. i have heard it before, but i think it is kinda bs. i have done it with a car that trapped over 120 and never had any problems

Cool car! How long did the swap take? Just have one dumb question that I've always wanted to ask......Why do a burn out before racing the quarter mile? I know dumb question...probably has something to do with traction but I always wanted to know "for sure" what the reason was.

I'm a drag racing n00b, but it heats up the tires for more grip.

What I"m talking about is having a Bias ply tire out back and a Radial up front. witch is any street tire. If you need more it says it right on some slicks not to mix them like that.

The reason for this is a radial has a stiffer side wall then a slick does and there for they sway at different rates and can make the car feel lose.

Sabre I drove the car on the 10.8 pass and it was not that bad. The z-cars do ok with radials up front. I know that my rx7 was very bad when I only had slicks on the back.
