Default 4l80e ?

I am looking for a core to have built and put in my SS.Is there any difference besides the tail shaft housing of a 4x2 or 4x4?

The 4x4 will not have a rear reluctor ring on the output carrier, be sure if you're using a computer to control it you have one put on while the output is being swapped. And obviously you'll need a sensor for it too.

if they are anything like the 700R4, the 4x4 version tail shaft will be shorter to accomodate the Center Differential, but I could be wrong since its a 4L80E

The output shaft is shorter on the 4x4 version of the 4L80E as compared to the 2wd version. I'd recommend the 2wd version for this reason.
