Default to main stud or not to main stud, that is the question

im looking at between 650 and 750 rwhp on my new build and I was wondering if I should go with an arp stud kit or if the stock bolts are sufficient. d1sc 14-16psi 346ci. patriot lq9 heads

I am not sure a girdle would be necessary at that level, but I would do studs. Aren't they $150 or so? To me that is cheap insurance as somebody else said.

The side ARP main bolt kit that comes with the oil pump pickup tube bolt is only like 25 bucks I would do it too.

Thats why I went ahead and bought a girdle with the longer studs. A little insurance with as much as we spend on motors.

I got main studs, head studs, and L19 bolts. Id hate to ruin a $8,000 motor over a snapped bolt!
