Holden Performance - Any links to road tests or 1/4 mile tests for the new Holden VE's? Owner reviews?

Now that GM is bringing the VE Commodore to the USA as the 2008 Pontiac G8, I wanted to get as much info on them before I order one.

I really want to know what kind of quarter mile times owners are getting and if they are having any problems with their VE commodores.

The closest thing the USA got to the VE was our Cadillac CTS-V and the rear ends keep breaking.
I wonder if the VE's drivetrain is better designed.

Is the VE confirmed as a 2008 model pontiac in the US?! When will they be at dealers?
