Florida Members - Oviedo: Silver "LS1" SN95 Stang

I was on my way to a friends house in oviedo off of FL. Ave. and going down 434 I ran into a silver mustang, V6 body style w/ rims and I saw exhaust so I didnt think much of it, just passed by. Well I end up the first car at a redlight and him behind me. Light turns green, we roll out easily, but ended getting on it. He passes and puts just over a car on me. Im in complete shock! Pull next to eachother, I give him a thumbsup. We get to a red light next to eachother and I tell him he has a badass car and asked what was done to. It slyly glances forward like he doesnt want to spill the secret and says "a LS1 w/ a thundercam" Now Im in disbelief! I give him props and we're on our way when the light turns green again. He actually turned down De Leon but I had gotten caught at a redlight at 417.

So anyone know this guy? Id love to look under the hood and see how well it fit. By sound I couldnt tell if it really was a LS1 or not, sounded a little bit like one. Anyways, Id love to see it again!

That was me, I just bought that car with an LS1 already in it. I'm about to make it fast. :)

Im a lil surprised though. I only have a few bolt-ons and you have a cammed LS1, and Im sure it doesnt weigh more than my car. I would think you couldve had more than a car length at me by those speeds?

BTW- Do you live back there off of DeLeon?

Thats where the shop is. The car can get pretty nasty you may have not seen its full potential.

Your car is a 6 speed, mine is an automatic with a stall. You definately have the advantage from a 40 roll like we went, but I still came right by you, even though you hit it first while I was still a good bit behind you.
The stang is a little lighter than an F body, but not by much, mabye a hundred pounds or so

yea, when i saw you jump to the right lane i downshifted and gunned it cause it looked like you were already on it while changing lanes. But either way, you did pass me like it was nothing. Ill have to stop by next time im down there.

yeah i'd like to see the engine bay especially. i want to do something like that in the future, well build a motor for the camaro then take my motor out and put it in something like a stang for a DD. i'd like a notch back but clean ones are too hard or expensive to find.
