Default Max Boost For Stock Bottom End 2004 Zo6

My friend has a 2004 zo6 with LG pro headers and borla stinger cat back..It also has a new pro charger on it as well....Right now he has it dialed in @ 7lbs of boost..He dynoed the car and he claims it only put down 447rwhp and 487rwtq...if he goes up a couple of more lbs of boost will his bottem end be ok? Oh yeah, I forgot...he is running stock fuel system and everything else..Any imput is appreciated...

Does he have the thing tuned?? When you say "stock fuel system" do you just mean the lines, pump, and regulator??? What size injectors does he have?? He could probably go to 9# but he has to be really careful with his tune...

Yeah, all of it is stock...I not that familiar with FI, the #'s seemed a little low ..I'm not certain on his tuning either, just trying to get some feedback....thanks again..

He should be fine. I'm at well over 500 RWHP on a stock '99 bottom. Of course he can go with alky injection for insurance but that will run $500 plus installation and tuning. At his current power levels all of the stock components should be fine. Of course that doesn't include tires and a clutch.

goona need the fuel. internals are good, but the more fuel he has the safer he is, too much fuel is better than not enough

Appreciate all the imput guys....I found out he is actually making 547/530 ish on tq...he's just trying to get a feel for some f-bodys around town...problem is I told him he needed the 1200.00 driver mod from LG and he asked if I had it I told him it came with my car....Truth be known he really inquired about it by phone....
