You can't use the stock wiring to run both pumps. You need a dedicated 12V feed with 10ga wire. You can use the stock wire to close a relay to the 10ga wire to keep the "key on" effect and safety features.

30 amp draw from 2 pumps will blow factory fuses, relays and possibly burn the wiring harness.

oops, i forgot to mention i have a racetronix harness that both pumps run off of and a hobbs switch to turn on the second pump

Is that fuel line going to hold up submerged in fuel? You should check it fairly often or switch to submersible fuel line.

Gates Submersible Fuel Line (http://www.gates.com/australia/brochure.cfm?brochure=3156&location_id=3779)

They sell it at Napa in 3/8" & 5/16". The 3/8" is #H213.

This is what I got:

The braided hose show in his pictures is the stuff we use for just about every pump install. We have had failures with just about everything else.

If the top picture is the finished product, cut alot more out.The pumps will cavitate like that. Found out the hard way before.

I think Don just looked at the very first pic. With the bottom wide open and the back, there really is no chamber to cavitate.

I have seen pictures of badly deteriorated hose after only a couple months. The Gates hose is specifically made for being submerged in fuel. It has a coating on the outside as well as the inside. That's why I went w/ the submersible line. Just my .02.

This was some of what I was reading: fuel line deteriation (http://corral.net/forums/showthread.php?t=842357)

I know its a Ford, but same concept.
