Thanks, for the replies. I havn't checked this in a while. Just so you guys know if you don't already the 02' WS6 speedline rim is very ex. $714.00, from GM, They did however give me a military dis. which brought it down to $485.00. Which is what it was going for on other places that sold the rim, so I got it from GM,at least I know it's the real deal, not some cheap piece of crap, and it's not bent. Thanks for the replys though

You can get the Speedline style wheel (brand new) from other sources besides GM. There is a company called AAA rims that sells these.

I looked them up, and they had WS6 rims but not the speedline version, either way I heard that rims from diff. sources run the rist of splitting, so either way this was the best way for me, thanls though, Do you know where I could get a pass taillight? thanks

Get that at the dealer too, so you don't have to worry about it being broken.

I just checked. They have the Speedline ('01-'02 WS6) wheels as well. $270 a piece. Not sure how you missed it?

I'd post the direct link but I can't because they aren't a sponsor.

The rims from this place are fine. I had a full set of Chrome WS6 wheels from them on my Trans Am, they balanced perfectly and never had any issues.

Hey your right they do have it, either way to late, where were ya' a month ago,lol jk, but why are they so cheap though, something about a $710 rim for $200 sounds funny to me, I'm sure yours are great but major things like this I feel better with the overpriced GM ones, lol/

LOL.... yeah sorry I couldn't have helped sooner.

Truth about factory wheels is, many are outsourced by OE manufacturers actually. Sometimes you'll even see non-OEM stampings or insignias on cars with factory issued wheels.

Places like AAA don't manufacture them either. They buy from outsource suppliers as well, but they are cheaper in price because they are not selling them with the "GM" name or warranty to back it.

AAA also sells refurbished wheels as well, but if you call them they will specify if the ones you are buying are new or not. Mine were new, and most of the wheels they offer for newer cars can be had either new or refinished. For the older cars (like 3rd gens), most of the wheels are refinished originals.

Places like AAA typically cater to body shops. When a car comes in with a damaged wheel from an accident, many body shops will order from places like this to save some money.

Its called brand name everything you buy from the dealer is way overpriced. There are many stock parts that I have found way cheaper online that are still new stock original gm parts. $700 for one rim is just ridiculous, I bought 4 TT2's for $900 to my door.
