Whats the best 60' times you guys have pulled with a 10 bolt. If possible best times with 4.10's

Post what tires (street or drag radials) you had and gears

1.67 with 4.56 with 27x10.5x16 ET streets. not even dumping clutch just babying it so it doesnt break but i heard someone got a nitrous launch with a stock rear and saw 1.4?. incredible

My best 60' is 1.48 and my average 60' is around a 1.53. This is with 3.73 gears and drag radials.

I see your a A4, im a M6 that makes a little differnce. But thats still some great 60" on a 10 bolt, :hail:

1.61 on 150,xxx mile stock rear and 100% stock susp & 2.73. I am an A4 though, so a lot easier then dumping your M6.

many 1.80's same car and tire with 4.10's ......babying it out of the hole.

times in sig are with Motive 3.90's in the 10bolt.

DAMN thanks for the input guys i run a 2.20 60' on street tires and 3.42 thinking of some 4.10s and drag radials but was kinda ify about busting my ole 10 bolt been down that road on a previous LT1. But dont look like the LS1 are a harsh on the 10 bolts as the LT1 are.

ranges from 1.6-2.1 depends on how the clutch wants hook sometimes she's sticky and others she feels like a mexican whore

man are you luck, I pulled a 1.57 with out spraying out the hole and that was it. the next pass when i launched i broke 6 teeth clean off the ring.

3.23's on Nittos 1.71 60 foot.

im hoping i can cut some 1.80 that woud put me @ a 12.80 with nothing but a 1 chamber flowmaster

I did a 1.77 60 ft with a stock 10 bolt with an m6 with just bolt ons and 350 rwhp. I did it with 275/40r17 mickey thompson drag radials

1.7s on Nittos with stock suspension and 4.10s....m6.
1.6s on Nittos with stock suspension and 3.23s....a4.

M/T drag radial (275/50/15)

430 gears and 6 speed

1.61 on motor @4700rpm

1.53 on a 100 shot @3500rpm

that was a spec III clutch and slipping it.

Consistant 1.4X all day long. N/A, leaving off a 4000rpm foot brake.

Yeah, it's a crap shoot with the 10 bolt at best.

1.48-1.49 w/ mickey's. 3400 vig., 4l60e, 3850# 'vert. leave just off idle and flash into the converter. front tires come off the ground about 3-4 inches

i got some 315 sumitomo's right now and going to 4.10's i think its going to be real interesting. they dont do bad now with 3.42 gears but the 4.10's probably will toast them

Just above idle....1200-1400 with a quick slip of the clutch. I also think that clutch choice is a MAJOR part of getting descent 60' times and allowing the 10bolt to live. I had the 4.30's in the car for 1.5 years without breaking anything. You need a clutch that is forgiving, not a on/off style when running a 10bolt.

it says in your sig 3:90's now why did you switch from the 4:30's? how do you like the 3:90's?

I was running the 4.30's N/A

Then I wanted to play around with N20 so the 4.30's came out and 3.90's went in, I didn't want to be forced to run a larger tire to get through the traps in 4th.

I run the Ram PowerGrip HD with the 300 series friction material disk....engages smoothly and holds great for my hp & tq levels on the Nitrous. The pedal pressure is firm but fine for a daily driver, to me that is.

1.52 on ET-streets. 3.42 gears and an A3.

im thinking i might keep my 3.42's in for a while and save for some 4.30 in a 9"

Check the sig for the 60fts on the Z28. Car had stock 7.5 with 3.42s. The CETA has been 1.8Xs on 16" Nittos running a 12.8X with a lid and Slowmaster. It's a stock geared 6spd

Damn, I've had 4.30's in for about 2 months & no issue's at all, 10 bolt is holding up fine......getting ready to get some ZR1 17" 285/315 combo.....the key is slippin the clutch with the 10 bolt......need to get some track time in:)
