LT1: Aeromotive 1:1 AFPR with turbo..is it worth it?
Is it worth getting the aeromotive 1:1 AFPR for my car? Im going to be making 550-600rwhp through my PTK gen2/t70 10-12psi and was wondering if it was needed..What are the pros/cons of having it?

The only reason to get it is if you intend on raising your base fuel pressure to get more flow out of the injectors. Otherwise, the stock regulator will work exactly the same.
Also, the Aeromotive fuel pressure regulators don't have the best track record on LT1's. I've seen many of them with ruptured diaphragms.

hey just saw this thread and wanted to drop in and say badass LT1 but why the front end conversion, from the looks of it the car looks completely sinister with the LT1 front end, im hoping to build a turbo iron block in mine once i finish school but im going to keep the LT1 front end, i was just wondering if it was for any technical reasons or you did cause you liked it better

yes, the intercooler. I didnt want to hack up the old front bumper and I really like the way the LS1 front end looks like esp with the intercooler sticking out....and the only reason im putting the LS1 WS6 hood on the car is cuz my car is an actual WS6..im not really trying to do it so people think its an LS1(even though I have the tailights, brakes and just about everything else) lol
