M/T or Hoosier Radials help me out here!!! ok im looking in getting a set of tires real soon im really confused to which ones i wanna pick the price is pretty much the same but which one do yall think is better????[IMG]

I never tryed the hoosier but i have the mt and they hook like a ***** on the street. they are worth every penny and to be honest you have no idea your riding on a DR when your crusing 65-70 (and the ocassianal run on the freeway 
)

M/T and Hoosier currently don't have their drag radials in 18" (I thought I came across a post tho where someone said one of them is working on it, not sure tho). Regardless, for your power level, your best bet is to stick with Nitto 555R's, IMO. They offer 'em in 18" and will give you the most treadlife by far and handle the best, esp for wet pavement. They're extremely stable in turns and at high speeds for DRs.
I have a set of both 17" Nittos and Hoosiers for my full bolt-on/suspension/stalled A4 car.
If you add a stall + other go-fast goodies down the line and need some traction than a Nitto will provide, slap some MTs or Hoosiers on your stock rims and switch between them and the C6s when needed.

I've been through 3 sets of the M/T and they are the best tire for the street and the track that i've found but i would'nt reccomend them on a DD because they don't last all that long and they are horrible in the rain.

Had the hoosiers on my last fbody when they first came out in a 315/35/17. Stuck like glue. Due to the tread design I wouldnt trust them in the rain though...wouldnt really with the mt's either, but at least the mt's have something that resembles tread if the car was going to be driven for any kinda distance and possibly caught in the rain.

i would pick the m/t but if your gonna be using them everyday go with the nittos, they have pretty decent tread life for a dr and they do hold the road well in the rain

How bout the bfg drag radials how are they compaired to the two tires in this thread. I love my kdws tires I have now and am planning on getting their drag radials unless they are no good.

I agree the M/T DR's are awsome! They hook like crazy as everyone has already stated. But the "clean up" after a night at the track is pure hell!!! Much worse than my old BFG DR's. I too have been very interested in the Hoosiers. I dont use DR's for daily driving though. Just to the track and then home. Anybody know if the clean up is any better or easier with the Hoosiers? Two hours and two cans of WD40 after every track session is hell!
