Smile 98 ss misfires only when it gets wet need help

i bought a 98 ss camaro about a year ago from an older man who had it sitting in his garage,it only had 4,000 original miles with no mods.since then i put most of the bolt ons that i could,ls6 intake, mti throttle body, lid, hooker headers, borla cat back and ls1 edit tuned at mti in houston.my problem is the car runs excellent when dry but if it starts to rain the check engine light starts blinking and it starts to misfire, but when the light stops blinking it runs fine again even in the rain.i took it to auto zone and it reads multi-cylinder misfire.i changed plugs, wires, changed each coil but it still did the same thing.i looked underneath the car for any bare wires but couldnt find nothing.i even sprayed each individual coil with a light mist of water but again nothing.could anyone help with this problem before i take it to mti and they charge me out the *** for something i could have probably done myself.thanks for the help.

Have you checked your coil pack connectors as well, the main ones for each side?
I would also take a look at the cam and crank position sensor connectors. Pay close attention to the crank sensor. Its down low were it might be getting wet. Make sure they are all tight and clean.

check your o2 sensor connections for moisture. hooker supplies an extension with the headers and the connector is behind the front wheels. water off the road would get into them and give p0300. changed to 13111 sensors and did away with the extensions

Electrical problems are like having a grimlin in your car. Check all the electrical connections for your coils, bent pins, corrosion, residual moisture, small things like these can cause big problems. Odds are its just something simple, trick is finding it. Good luck!

did you remove the shroud under your airbox? After I did that my air intake started to suck up water, even if I only hit a puddle.
