Unfortunately for you, a lot of what you put on the car is either going to go away, or won't be too helpful. The lid, filter, catback, cutout, maf ends, and nitrouc would have to all come off. The long tubes could stay, but I've heard they don't help much for the sts setup.

I'm not that good on cam specs, so I'm not sure if your cam will work well or not. How much boost did you want to run? Anything over 5 psi, you will need something to cool the intake charge (intercooler or methanol). Other than that, running 5-8 psi with an sts kit is pretty simple. Obviously you'll need a new tune, which is the most important part. HTH.

Oh, just noticed, your sfc's....one side will come off. Also, those 4:10's in the 12 bolt aren't ideal. You might have a touch time spooling this thing up until late 2nd/3rd gear.

I run 3.42's. I think anything above that won't work as well. Good luck with the build.

Borla, cutout, lid, MAF ends....sell. You'll have to remove the driver side subframe connector too.

Cam....what are the specs? I'm running a TR224 on a 112LSA and it actually works decent. Not ideal, but decent.

STS. I'd upgrade to the GT-67 turbo.

Definetly add a FMIC. I don't care what BS STS throws out about the intake cooling the charge. My IAT's were hitting upwards of 130 degrees at 5PSI. After the FMIC, it dropped to 100 to 104.

I'd say keep the LT headers, especially if they're ceramic coated. I have DynaTech LT's and no issues. Wrap the exhaust from the Y-pipe back and you'll get better spool times + the benefit of the LT's at lower RPM's. My $0.02

The 4.10's won't help you either. 3.42's are a good choice.

Solder the wiring connectors from the STS to the PCM. Also want to section the upper radiator hose for better clearance + add heat resistant tape to the intake pipe where it comes close to the driver side header and the upper radiator hose.

Get a good tune....and that's about all that comes to mind.

3.55's will work. You could do 3.73's too. Boost I wouldnt go over 8psi with the stock block. Anything over that and you will be pushing it.

get a hold of TRT (texas rear turbos) for the purchase. Not only do they have great prices on kits, but they also sell their own FMIC setups and other configurations. On top of that, some of the best customer service youll ever get.

You can also open search and simply adjust to "thread titles" and type "sts". Youll find everything you ever wanted to know.

be careful on the psi.... if i made my original 7.5, i would be way in the limits of the stock bottom end. you dont need 8 psi when the right combo on 5.5 will get you over 500rwhp

The car does run very well. He was around 450ish before we did the cam with someone elses tune. We installed the cam and retuned and made the 500.
Cam works well.
