brakelights dont work...

Default brakelights dont work...

my brakelights dont work however my 3rd brakelight works...

open your hatch and pull back the carpet. unscrew the plasic tail light housing retainers and pull out the tail light bulbs and see if they are black and check for moister in the housiong.

let me add just a little more to this...

my car is a 96, i up graded everything, all the harnesses bcm, pcm, motor, tranny, ect... to a 98+ setup... the only thing i didnt do was the taillight harness... yet my blinkers work (on the back), along with the parking lights...

check your brake switch, They have separate circuits for saftey, if one works but not the other thats a good place to start.

i was able to fix it... the 98 camaro interior harness had one 1 more wire than the 96 TA harness, so i just wired 1 set of bulb sockets to the brake signal wire on the 98 harness
