99 LS1 giving code "PO138" - help PLZ
OK - I got a 99 WS6 with a coustom tune. Its got a miss but it comes and goes. I took it to my shop and had them read the codes and they said they got "PO138". I was told it was 02 circuit high voltage => Bank 1, sensor 2. The problem I have is that this is a 99 and I dont have O2's after the cats so why is it throwing this code? Has anyone got any Ideas? PLZ HELP if you can. I have changed plugs and wires and I have checked all the coils rrsistance (I am not sure what the resistance should be but they all ohm out exactly the same). Thanks in advance for the help.

P0138 is indeed high voltage B1S2. You can read a detailed description and diangostic steps here. When you had it tuned, do you know if they accounted for not having rear O2's? Checking the tune would be one of the first things. You could post it. Perhaps the tuner simply missed turning off one of the DTC's.
Not for sure about the 'miss'. Are you basing this off of sound, performance, response, etc.?

The miss is easy to feel and is noticible when you drive the car. Just figuring out why seems to be the problem. It is a random thing. Thx for the info Guys I will continue to dig into this. Lata, Arkangel77
