Talking Switched from A4 -> M6

I could not be more happy. Car is so much more fun to drive. The highway is extra nice with 3.73 gears. Cruising at 80mph with only 1900rpms's is a lot better than 3000rpms with the A4. Thanks to EPP for doing the swap for me. Could not have asked for better service. I will never go back to an A4 again.

I did the same thing, I love the car so much more now. Wouldn't do it any other way.

I still need a 6 speed harness, but it's so much greater now.

Anyways, I can chime in with my cost....It cost me 1800 for the trans and clutch...and about 800for install

All together probably 2600ish

Car in sig now, but I had an auto for 5 years WS6.It was fast, but now the saet of the pant performance is unreal. The torque fells stronger with manuel cars.

same here, I bought a kit someone pulled out of his 2000 car for 1400. he already had a pro 5.0 shifter, custom made clutch, and the steel fork for 4th gear. I did the swap myself and it went pretty smoothly, no big hassles. I enjoy driving the car a lot more now. I just have to get my 3.73's in. I have the stock 3.23's and it's really nice on gas (30 on the interstate, about 21 or 22 highway)

I bought the whole swap stuff from a member on the board about a year ago. With the T56 came along a McCloud clutch, billet fly, B&M shifter and adjustable master. I of coarse upgraded to a 01/02 slave. My install price was $500 but I did give them all my A4 crap. Bob was nice enough to give me his pedal assembly since mine didn’t have one. I though it did but o well. I did not have a harness they just used the existing wires and hooked them up accordingly. If your thinking about doing it, do it, you are only missing out not doing it.
